“We stayed as 8 adults and 3 children at Villa Gemma and the experience was beyond our expectations. The house is wonderful as it appears in the photos: 4 double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, comfortable sofa beds in the living room with privacy, two kitchens, an additional outdoor bathroom and fantastic pool area with every amenity. The house is equipped with everything from beach chairs and toys to inflatables for the pool. Special mention for the barbecue area. Beautiful beach in the dunes a few steps from the gate. From here you can easily reach the most beautiful towns in Southwestern Sicily: Ragusa, Modica, Syracuse, Noto. Ms. Lorena welcomed us impeccably. Our stay was unforgettable and we could only hope to return.”
“We just had an amazing week at Villa Gemma, the facility is amazing!!! We were two families of 4 with children ages 12-15. The pool, outdoor kitchen, barbecue and ping pong made the stay great. The interior of the villa is perfect, with four large bedrooms, each with a private bathroom.
The hosts were very helpful during our stay, offering recommendations for beach trips, restaurants, and places to visit. The beach is a 2-minute walk from the villa.
You will need a car to get to supermarkets and restaurants, as there is not much close to the villa, but the property is just great.”
“Villa Gemma was one of the nicest houses I have stayed in! We were 2 families plus our parents (9 people total) with plenty of space for everyone. There are 4 bedrooms. The fifth is a sofa bed in the living room on the left as soon as you enter. Two of our teenagers slept there and it worked well. There is a privacy curtain and separate air conditioning. So we didn’t really “need” a living room, since we spent all day and night outside in the fantastic courtyard. The proximity to the beach makes this house ideal. About 2-3 minutes walk to a beautiful sandy beach with crystal clear water, uncrowded and no tourists. Lorena was a fantastic host and answered all our questions day and night, helped arrange a private driver, Sandro, for our parents and more. There is not much around, you need a car, only a 7-8 minute drive to Pozzallo, where there are grocery stores, etc. Nearby (5 minutes by car) there is a restaurant called Soda Thanks, right on the beach, highly recommended. Great stay, thanks also to the owner Angelo!”
